Restricted brands
Enforced at the catalog, not suggested in a memo.
Some brands can't be sold on a public store, or decorated a certain way, or sold by certain accounts. Set the restriction per supplier, per brand, per store type. A restricted brand can't be listed where it isn't allowed, so it never shows up on a store that shouldn't carry it. The compliance desk at the supplier stops calling, and your rep there stops apologizing for you. A rapid store built from a domain inherits the rules before it exists, so the restriction is never something a rep has to remember.
