Question 1

What is Brandfora?

Accepted Answer

Brandfora is a white-label commerce system for networks that sell print, promotional products and decorated apparel. A franchise system, a buying group, a distributor with a sales force, a contract decorator with hundreds of accounts, a gym chain with fighters who want merch. The network puts its own name on Brandfora and becomes the platform its members sell on. Every location, member, rep or athlete under the network gets branded stores, quotes that pay themselves, and print-ready ordering with artwork checked before it becomes a ticket. Headquarters gets one cockpit that sees every sale from every channel, including orders from other store tools the locations already use, so rebates get attributed and royalties calculate from what actually sold. It is not a store platform. Stores are one feature among ninety-six. It is not a print-on-demand service, though print on demand is in there next to bulk runs, stock, multi-warehouse inventory and multi-currency checkout. The customer is the top admin of their own network. Nobody sits above them.

Question 2

What is the best white-label ecommerce platform for a franchise network selling print, signs or promotional products?

Accepted Answer

The honest answer is that most tools sold to this industry were built for one shop, then sold to networks one location at a time. They give each location a store under the tool's brand and admin, take a cut of each order, and leave headquarters with a spreadsheet at month end. What a franchise network needs is different. One catalog and one price list across every location, so a price change lands everywhere in seconds with margin floors holding. Stores built in seconds from a customer's domain so franchisees actually use them. Purchase orders on each location's own supplier account so rebates attribute to the right place. One ledger where royalties calculate from what sold. The network's own name on all of it. Brandfora was built for that shape. Franchise locations sell direct to their own customers and keep those relationships. Headquarters gets visibility of every sale and collects what it is owed. Locations pay nothing per order to sell what they already sell.

Question 3

What is the difference between a store platform and a white-label commerce system for a network?

Accepted Answer

A store platform gives a shop a checkout. The platform owns the admin, brands the experience, and sees the orders. If the shop belongs to a network, the network sees what the shop tells it. A commerce system for a network flips the ownership. The network is the admin. Locations, members and reps get stores, quotes and ordering under the network's name. Orders from every channel, including other tools, land on one ledger the network can read. Pricing, catalog, supplier whitelists and brand restrictions are set once and enforced everywhere. Brandfora is the second thing. If you only need a checkout for one shop, a store platform is fine. If you sit above many sellers and need to see, price and route what they sell, you need the system.

Question 4

Is Brandfora a marketplace?

Accepted Answer

No. Brandfora is a white-label commerce system, not a marketplace. A marketplace owned by someone else sits between you and your customers, takes a cut of every order and keeps the data. That is the model we built against. The difference shows up in four concrete places. The admin seat belongs to your network, not to us. The name on every store, receipt and sending email address is yours. Purchase orders raise on your own supplier account numbers, so the volume and the rebate land where you negotiated them. And payment settles through your own connected Stripe account, so the money never passes through ours. There is no shared shopper directory, no cross-selling of one network's buyers to another, and no ranking that puts your locations next to someone else's. What Brandfora does instead is turn your network into its own marketplace under your name. Your locations, members, reps or athletes get branded stores and quotes. Your suppliers and decorators fill the orders. Your cockpit shows every sale by location, product, supplier and channel, and the fee you are owed calculates from that ledger. Most networks build that picture today from a monthly spreadsheet each location fills in b

Question 5

How can fundraising payouts and sales commissions be split automatically at the moment of sale?

Accepted Answer

Most systems collect the money, then someone reconciles a spreadsheet at month end and cuts checks. Brandfora splits the payment at the point of transaction. You write the rule on the store: the booster club gets 15 percent, the rep gets 10 percent, the network takes its program fee, the location keeps its margin. When the buyer pays, each party is paid to its own connected account, and each sees a statement with the orders behind the number. It runs on Stripe Connect, so the money never sits with us. Fundraisers, athlete stores, rep commissions, franchise fees and royalties all settle the same way: at the sale, by rule, with nothing to reconcile.

Question 6

Nobody is asking us for online stores. Why would we add one?

Accepted Answer

Nobody asked for an iPhone either. Nobody asks their decorator for a store because nobody has seen one appear in nine seconds from a logo. What buyers do ask for is a quote back faster, a reorder without re-sending artwork, and a way to buy without a phone call. A store is what those requests look like once a store costs nothing to build. The early networks that give every location that experience are taking the orders that currently go to big online printers. The rest are explaining why nobody asked. Read the full list of what people say on the first call, and our answers.

Question 7

Should we build our own store platform or use Brandfora?

Accepted Answer

If you are a supplier, a fulfillment house, a franchise system, a buying group or a distributor, your edge is product, production and a network of people who sell. A store platform is a permanent software department: a configurator that turns any logo into a print-ready file, a three-tier admin model across a network, supplier integrations that never finish, payment splits, tax, security reviews, support. Brandfora already has all of it, 96 features and growing, and you keep everything you would have owned anyway: your brand on every screen, your suppliers on your account numbers, your data in its own database. The first store is built on the demo call and you are live on your own domain in days. The honest side by side is on the build-versus-buy page.

Question 8

How can a promotional products distributor or decorator offer corporate gifting stores with credits to its clients?

Accepted Answer

Paste the client's web address and a branded gift store stands in 9 to 15 seconds. The client sets a credit per person, per group or per event using allowances or gift cards. Recipients open an invitation, pick their own size and color, and pay any remainder by card or purchase order. Each gift is produced on demand from your suppliers and decorators on your account numbers and shipped to the doorstep. Nothing is stored. New-hire kits, anniversaries, customer thank-yous, event swag and seasonal theme stores all run from the same store. Every location and rep in your network can offer it to every client, under your name, with the order on your ledger.

Question 9

How can a franchise or network push a holiday catalog to every location's store at once?

Accepted Answer

On Brandfora headquarters builds the collection once: pick the items, set the prices, set a start and end date, press one button. Every store in the network shows the collection in its own branding, priced from the network price list, ready to buy and ready to produce, within minutes. Nobody at a location adds a product by hand. On the end date the collection removes itself from every store. The same button runs awareness months, spring spirit wear, a new uniform program or a supplier's featured line, to every store or only the group you pick. Every order lands on the network ledger, so next year's push is planned from numbers.

Question 10

Why would a franchise network, buying group or distributor switch to Brandfora?

Accepted Answer

Because the network makes more and does less, and nothing it owns has to move. More: the online orders that go to whoever is effortless come to your locations; reorders arrive from the receipt link; the holiday season runs in every store instead of half; rebates attribute at the sale; fees calculate from real sales; fundraisers and gift stores become categories your locations can sell tomorrow. Less: stores in seconds, quotes in seconds, artwork print-ready before payment, price changes in seconds, purchase orders and payouts that happen by themselves. Your suppliers, account numbers, brand, customers and payment accounts stay exactly where they are. The first store is built on the demo call.

Question 11

What brands and suppliers can a network sell through Brandfora?

Accepted Answer

SanMar is live today: purchase orders raise on each location's own SanMar account, with SanMar's brands (Port Authority, Sport-Tek, District, Nike, Carhartt, The North Face, Eddie Bauer, OGIO, New Era, Gildan, BELLA+CANVAS, Comfort Colors and the rest of the SanMar brand list) priced live in every store. Fulfill Engine is live for decorated print on demand across 5,000+ products. S&S Activewear, with 100+ brands including Hanes, adidas and Oakley, is rolling out. The rest of the industry's top 10 suppliers by sales (Gildan, HIT Promotional Products, PCNA, Koozie Group, HPG, Next Level Apparel, Sportsman Cap & Bag, Workwear Outfitters) are next. The full brand lists, with sources and dates, are on the brands page. Orders route to your own floor, your decorators or your fulfillment partners on your rules.

Question 12

Is Brandfora a print-on-demand platform?

Accepted Answer

Print on demand is one of the ways a Brandfora store can sell. One-off DTG hoodies with nothing to stock, produced when ordered, routed to your floor or a partner. It is not the only way. The same cart takes bulk runs with quantity tiers, stock items from inventory held in one or several warehouses, reservations against a run, and hard goods drop-shipped from a supplier on your own account. A single checkout can carry a one-off DTG hoodie, a 250-piece screen run and forty tumblers, each line routed to the right floor. So: POD yes, POD-only no. Networks need to sell every way their customers buy, in the buyer's currency and language.

Question 13

How can a franchisor see online orders from every franchise location in one place?

Accepted Answer

Two paths, and Brandfora runs both. First, locations sell on Brandfora stores under the network's name, so every order is on the network's ledger the moment it is placed. Second, order ingestion pulls order data from the store tools locations already run into the same cockpit, so headquarters sees everything before anyone rips anything out. The cockpit shows sales by location, product, supplier, channel and season. Rebates attribute to each location's supplier account. Royalties and program fees calculate from the ledger instead of from a self-reported total. Nobody needs a mandate. Locations switch because the store took nine seconds to build and the price change took none of their time.

Question 14

How do franchise networks recover supplier rebates on volume they cannot see?

Accepted Answer

A network recovers rebates by making every purchase order raise on a supplier account number it can attribute, and by holding one ledger that rolls that volume up by supplier and by location. Rebates get lost when either of those is missing. There are two leaks. Volume that never touches the network's negotiated account numbers because a location bought somewhere convenient, and volume that did touch them but arrives at month end as one undifferentiated total nobody can split by location. On Brandfora each order writes a purchase order against that location's own account with the supplier, on the terms the network negotiated. The supplier whitelist decides which vendors appear in a store at all, so a location cannot quietly buy off program. The cockpit then reports purchased volume by supplier, by location and by period, next to the tier thresholds in the agreement. Today that reconciliation is a supplier statement, a spreadsheet of location account numbers and a third file of what each location says it bought, joined by hand by whoever owns vendor partnerships. It takes days each quarter and it still under-claims, because any volume with no location attached tends to get left out

Question 15

How can a franchisor calculate royalties from actual online sales instead of self-reported totals?

Accepted Answer

Royalties calculate from a ledger, not a survey. When every online sale in the network lands on one record the moment it is placed, the royalty becomes a column on a report instead of a monthly conversation with each location. Each order writes a line carrying the location, the store, the products, the sale value and the date. The royalty rule sits on top of it: a percentage of net sales, a program fee per period, a different rate by category or by store type, whatever the franchise agreement says. Brandfora shows the base next to the fee so both sides can see the arithmetic. Locations read their own statement; headquarters reads all of them side by side. Settlement runs on the same Stripe Connect rails that handle splits, so the fee moves at settlement instead of becoming an invoice somebody chases. The alternative is self-reporting. Each location totals its own online sales, headquarters chases the late ones, and no number can be audited without exports from three different tools. Late reporting and generous rounding both cost real money, and the disputes that follow cost goodwill that is harder to get back. Franchise locations still sell direct to their own customers and keep th

Question 16

How can a buying group track member sales against supplier agreements?

Accepted Answer

A buying group tracks member sales against supplier agreements by giving members selling tools the group owns, so every order routes to a program supplier on the member's own account and the volume attributes itself as it happens. Members get branded stores and quotes under the group's name. The group sets the master catalog, the supplier whitelist and the price list, so the products a member can sell come from vendors the group negotiated with. When an order is placed, the purchase order raises on that member's account number with that supplier. The cockpit reports volume by supplier, by member, by brand and by period, against the tier thresholds written into the agreement. For members not ready to change selling tools, order ingestion pulls their existing order data into the same view. Most groups rebuild this in the fourth quarter from supplier reports and member self-declarations that arrive in different shapes at different times. The group learns in November whether it will hit a threshold it set in January, and any member who bought off program stays invisible until a supplier statement contradicts the plan. This suits groups whose value to members is negotiated pricing and r

Question 17

How can promotional products distributors let sales reps build a client store during a call?

Accepted Answer

A rep builds a client store during the call by pasting the client's web address. Brandfora pulls the logo, checks it at print resolution, reads the brand colors and stands a branded store in 9 to 15 seconds. Five minutes later it is ready to sell. Inside that paste: the logo lands in the client's art locker with a vector version alongside it, so it is print ready at every zone. Your master catalog and your price list attach, with quantity tiers and size surcharges already applied. A subdomain wires up, the store gets its own sending email address, and checkout is connected. The rep then curates down to the twenty items that fit the account and builds a quote from the same catalog on the same call. The quote is an editable cart with the store attached, so the reorder has a home before the first order ships. Purchase orders raise on your own supplier account. The old version of this call ends with "let me put something together." A mockup request goes to art, a price build goes into a spreadsheet, and the quote arrives after 30 to 50 minutes of work, often the next day. The store, if it ever happens, is a project someone has to schedule, which is why most accounts never get one. This

Question 18

How can a gym or MMA network give every location and every fighter a merch store without carrying inventory?

Accepted Answer

A gym network gives every location and every fighter a merch store by treating a store as a record instead of a project. One dashboard stands up a store per location and a store per athlete, with no inventory bought and nothing held. Each store inherits the network catalog, the network price list and the brand rules, then carries the fighter's own name, colors and artwork. Products print on demand or ship from stock, so one design goes on a tee, a hoodie and a hat with no minimum order. A split rule on the store decides who gets what: the athlete's share, the gym's share, the network's program fee, each paid into its own connected account at settlement through Stripe Connect. Restricted brands and margin floors hold everywhere, so no location prices below the floor or sells a brand it is not allowed to carry. Fight-night drops open and close on a timer. The usual version is a box of shirts a coach ordered on a guess, sold from a folding table, split in cash afterward, with the sizes nobody wanted left in the box. Or a one-off shop somebody built for one athlete that no one maintains once that athlete stops asking about it. This is for gym chains, MMA and combat sports networks, and

Question 19

How do I set up an employee company store with allowances, approvals and cost centers?

Accepted Answer

You set up an employee company store by defining who may buy, what allowance each group carries, what needs approval and which cost center the order belongs to. The store checks the allowance first, takes a card for any remainder, and raises a purchase order if procurement wants one. The pieces: a closed store with sign-in, customer groups that carry their own products and prices, a wallet or allowance balance per employee or per group, an approval threshold above which an order waits for a named approver, and a cost center field that rides on every order through to the invoice. Redemption codes cover uniform issues and new-hire kits, so a code in the welcome email buys the kit without any balance being loaded. Orders can be produced on demand and shipped to the employee's door, or drawn from stock the company already owns across one or several warehouses. Invoices and net terms are there for companies that would rather be billed than swipe a card. Without this, an HR coordinator emails a spreadsheet of sizes to a supplier, tracks who has spent what in a second spreadsheet, and forwards receipts to finance to code by hand. Every new hire is a fresh email thread, and every quarter s

Question 20

What is a good alternative to OrderMyGear for team dealers and networks?

Accepted Answer

OrderMyGear is built for a dealer running team stores under OMG's brand and admin, with a per-order economic model. If you are a single dealer happy inside that, it works. If you sit above many sellers, or you want the platform to carry your name, or you want every order on a ledger you own with rebates attributed on your own supplier accounts, look at a white-label commerce system instead. Brandfora gives the network the admin seat, no per-order cut to locations, and ingestion of orders from other tools during the transition. The dated comparison with sources is on the compare page.

Question 21

What is an alternative to InkSoft for decorators who run many customer stores?

Accepted Answer

InkSoft gives a decorator product grids and stores under its own brand and pricing model. For a decorator with a handful of stores it does the job. When a decorator runs hundreds of accounts, or wants to be the platform its customers sell on rather than rent one, the economics and the admin question change. Brandfora builds stores in seconds from a domain, moves an existing fleet over by list, gates artwork at the cart, and puts the decorator's name on all of it. See the compare page for the side by side with dates and sources.

Question 22

What is an alternative to Chipply for spirit wear and fundraising stores?

Accepted Answer

The alternative to Chipply for a decorator running many spirit wear and fundraising stores is a white-label commerce system where you hold the admin seat, your name is on the store, and no per-order cut comes out of each sale. Chipply is a spirit wear store tool with its own checkout and per-order economics, and it does the job for a school store or two. What changes at scale is who owns the rails. On Brandfora you paste a school's web address and a branded store stands in 9 to 15 seconds with the logo already checked at print resolution. A fundraising store carries a visible goal, a live total and a split rule that pays the booster club, the decorator and any other party into their own connected accounts at settlement. One price list feeds every store, so a blank cost increase reaches all of them in seconds with margin floors holding. The by-hand version of a fundraiser is a spreadsheet at the end of the campaign, a total somebody adds up, and a check cut weeks later. The by-hand version of a season is building each team store from scratch, which is why most decorators cap how many schools they serve. Five hundred stores go up from a CSV in about 30 minutes here. This is for decor

Question 23

Should a print shop or decorator use Shopify for customer stores?

Accepted Answer

A print shop can use Shopify, and plenty do, but Shopify does not know what a print zone is, what 300 dpi means for a left chest logo, how a 2XL surcharge works, or that a purchase order should raise on your SanMar account when the order lands. Those gaps are the daily work of a decorated goods order. Brandfora models a print zone as a real area at real output size, measures the uploaded file against it, and refuses the checkout if it will not print, offering upscale, vectorize or a better file in the same panel. Price lists carry quantity tiers, size surcharges and decoration charges, and read markup and margin both ways, so a 60 percent markup shows as 37.5 percent margin next to it. Artwork lands in the customer's art locker with a vector and, for embroidery, a DST with stitch count and a matched thread palette. When the order is placed, the purchase order raises on your own supplier account number. On a general store platform each of those becomes an app, a plugin, a custom field or a person. The person is usually someone opening artwork after payment and calling the customer back for a better file, which costs a phone call, a slipped ship date and sometimes the order. Brandfor

Question 24

How does Brandfora compare to online store builders sold to the print and promo industry?

Accepted Answer

Store builders sold to the print and promo industry solve one shop's checkout. Brandfora solves a network's commerce: who holds the admin seat, whose name is on the store, where orders land, and how pricing, rebates and royalties follow from that. Six questions separate the two. Who is the top admin, the network or the vendor. Whose brand appears on the store, the receipt and the sending email address. Where the order record lives, and whether orders from other tools can be ingested into the same ledger. How a catalog and a price change propagate, and whether margin floors hold when they do. How supplier purchase orders raise, and on whose account number, because that decides where the rebate lands. And how artwork gets checked at real print size before production instead of after payment. Brandfora answers all six in the network's favor. When a builder answers them the other way, headquarters rebuilds the picture by hand: a monthly spreadsheet from each location, a supplier statement that cannot be split by location, and royalty totals that come from self-reporting. That is days of work each period, and it still under-claims what the network is owed. If you are one shop with one c

Question 25

How can I build a branded online store for a customer from just their website domain?

Accepted Answer

Paste the customer's web address into Rapid store. Brandfora builds a branded online store from it in 9 to 15 seconds on a normal day, and under 90 seconds at worst. Five minutes later it is ready to sell. Inside those seconds: the logo is pulled from the site and checked at print resolution, a vector version is produced and filed in that customer's art locker, the brand colors are read and applied to the theme, your master catalog and price list attach with quantity tiers and size surcharges, a subdomain is wired, the store gets its own sending email address, and checkout is connected. What takes the extra five minutes is human judgment: curate the catalog to the items that fit the account, set the store type, and decide whether it is open to the public or gated behind sign-in. By hand this is a designer redrawing a logo, a merchandiser picking products, someone typing prices into a template, and a developer pointing a subdomain. Days of elapsed time and enough internal cost that most shops only do it for accounts big enough to justify it, which is the real reason most customers never get a store at all. It scales past one. Upload a spreadsheet of a thousand prospect web addresses

Question 26

How can a customer's JPEG logo be vectorized automatically for screen printing, embroidery or vinyl?

Accepted Answer

Upload the JPEG in the store's configurator and Vectorize turns the raster into a clean SVG on the spot, ready for screen printing, embroidery or vinyl cutting. The chain runs in order. Upscale rebuilds detail in files that came off a website at small size. Background removal strips the white box or the photo sitting behind the mark. Vectorize traces the result into paths and flat color areas a separator or a cutter can use. Then the DPI gate reruns on the output and measures it against each print zone at real output size, so you know it passes on a left chest, a full back and a cap front before anyone commits it to a job. For embroidery the same artwork feeds a DST with stitch count and a matched thread palette. The manual path is a designer opening the file, redrawing the mark or running a trace and cleaning up the nodes, then exporting once per technique. That is real designer time per customer, or a per-file fee and a two-day outsourced turn. Worse, it happens again the next time that customer orders, because nobody filed the result anywhere the next person can find it. Here the vector sits in the art locker next to the original and travels with every store, quote and order tha

Question 27

How do I stop customers ordering with low-resolution artwork?

Accepted Answer

Stop low-resolution artwork by checking it at the cart instead of on the production floor. The DPI gate measures the uploaded file against the actual print zone at real output size and blocks the checkout if it will not print. Every product carries print zones with real dimensions. When a buyer places a logo in a zone, the gate compares the file's effective resolution at that printed size against the threshold for the technique, because 300 dpi across a four-inch left chest is a very different file from 300 dpi across a twelve-inch back. If it fails, the buyer sees why before they pay, with three fixes offered in the same panel: upscale the file, vectorize it, or upload a better one. If it passes, the print-ready file goes into the art locker and travels with the order to production. The usual sequence without a gate: order taken, payment captured, art opens the file two days later, someone calls the customer for a better logo, the job sits, the ship date slips. Or it prints anyway and comes back as a reprint on your cost, which is the expensive version of the same mistake. One decorator put it this way on a demo: "They can't check out. That's not a print-ready file." That sentence

Question 28

Can a customer logo be turned into an embroidery DST file with thread matching automatically?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The embroidery flow turns a customer logo into a DST file with a stitch count and a matched thread palette, and attaches it to the order so production has everything when the ticket lands. The artwork arrives through the same configurator, so it has already been checked against the cap front or left chest zone at real size and vectorized if it needed it. Thread matching reads the colors in the mark and maps each one to a thread in the palette you run, so the operator is not holding a screen up against a thread rack. The DST carries the stitch count, which is what the price of an embroidered piece really turns on. The file and the request ride inside the order record, next to the artwork, the print zone, the sizes and the supplier purchase order. Digitizing by hand runs about 10 minutes a file for a competent digitizer, longer for anything detailed, or a per-file fee and a next-day turn from an outside service. Either way it happens in an email thread that lives outside the order, which is how jobs reach the machine with the wrong version of the file attached. This suits decorators and networks running embroidery volume where most marks are ordinary: a name, a mark, a few flat

Question 29

How can a print or promo shop send quotes in seconds instead of thirty minutes?

Accepted Answer

A quote on Brandfora is an editable cart with a store attached, built from your catalog in seconds instead of the 30 to 50 minutes a quote takes by hand. You pick items from the master catalog while the customer is still on the phone. Pricing comes from the price list, so quantity tiers and size surcharges are already right, and the margin readout shows what each line makes before you send it. Artwork has already been checked against the print zones, so nothing on the quote is a maybe. The buyer opens a link, changes sizes and colors, watches the price move across the tiers, and pays on the same page. If procurement needs a PDF, it is the same quote with one click. If they want to keep ordering, the quote turns into a standing store on their own subdomain. The hand-built version is a supplier site in one tab, a decorating cost sheet in another, a spreadsheet for the math and a document template for the layout. Call it 30 to 50 minutes. Then they ask about navy, and it is another 30. Most shops lose these deals to whoever answered first, not to whoever priced best. This fits any print shop, decorator or promotional products distributor quoting all day, and reps working inside a netw

Question 30

How do I change prices across hundreds of stores at once without selling under cost?

Accepted Answer

One price list feeds every store in the network. Update the price list and the change reaches every store in seconds, with margin floors holding so no location can sell under cost. A price list holds cost, markup, margin, quantity tiers, size surcharges and decoration charges by product or by category. Stores read from the price list rather than keeping their own copies, which is why the change lands everywhere at once instead of being pushed store by store. Lock modes decide how much freedom a location gets: lock the cost and let the location set its own markup, or lock the sell price outright so every store in the network shows the same number. Margin warnings fire when a price would fall under the floor, and the floor wins. Different customer groups can carry different sheets, so a national account keeps its negotiated pricing while the public store does not. Without one price list, a blank cost increase means opening every store and editing products, or emailing locations to do it themselves and hoping they do. For a network with hundreds of stores that is days of work, and during those days some stores are still selling at last month's cost with this month's invoice already bo

Question 31

Can I route orders to my own suppliers and decorators instead of a platform's fulfillment?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Orders route to your own suppliers and decorators, with purchase orders raised on your own account numbers. Brandfora never sits between you and your vendors and takes no position in the supply. Routing works per line, not per order. A mixed cart holding a one-off DTG hoodie, a 250-piece screen run and forty tumblers splits three ways: DTG to your DTG floor, the screen run to the screen room or a contract decorator you name, the hard goods drop-shipped from the supplier on your account. Each destination gets a purchase order with the artwork, the print zone, the sizes and the ship-to already on it. Split shipments and cancel-through are handled, so a canceled line pulls its purchase order back instead of leaving a ghost order sitting at the supplier. You whitelist which suppliers appear anywhere in the network and which brands are restricted, so a location cannot sell what it is not allowed to carry. Typing a purchase order by hand takes about six minutes, every time, and it is where wrong sizes and wrong ship-to addresses enter the system. Multiply six minutes by every order with more than one source, then add the reprints that come from a transcription error nobody caught. T

Question 32

How do I move hundreds of existing customer stores from my current store tool?

Accepted Answer

You move hundreds of existing customer stores by list. Bulk import takes a spreadsheet of stores and stands them up with catalog, pricing and branding attached: five hundred stores in about 30 minutes. The spreadsheet carries one row per store with the customer name, web address, subdomain, the catalog or template to use, the price list and the owner. Brandfora then builds each one the way Rapid store builds a single store: logo pulled and checked at print resolution, vector filed in that customer's art locker, brand colors read, catalog and pricing attached, subdomain and sending email address wired. Template stores let you define the shape once and apply it across the whole batch. The result is drafts, so you review and open them on your own schedule instead of flipping a switch on the entire fleet at once. Rebuilding stores one at a time is the reason most decorators stay in a tool they have outgrown. At even 20 minutes a store, five hundred stores is more than 160 hours of somebody's year, spent retyping what already exists somewhere else. Nothing has to go dark during the move. Order ingestion keeps pulling orders from the tool you are leaving into the same cockpit, so headqua

Question 33

Can stores run in multiple currencies and languages for a network across countries?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Stores present in the buyer's language and currency, price lists understand both, and settlements reconcile in the currency each party is paid in. A store carries a locale and a currency. Product names, category labels and checkout copy render in the store's language, and prices come from a price list that holds a value per currency rather than converting at display time, so a network prices deliberately in each market instead of letting an exchange rate set the shelf price. Tax and VAT are handled per market. At settlement each party is paid in its own currency into its own connected account, with a statement showing the orders behind the number. Purchase orders still raise on the account numbers you hold with suppliers in that region. The alternative is a separate tool per country, with a separate catalog, separate price maintenance and separate reporting, joined into a spreadsheet at month end. Or a single English store that asks buyers to convert in their heads, which quietly loses orders at the last step of checkout and never tells you why. This is for networks that cross borders: franchise systems with locations in several countries, buying groups with international memb

Question 34

How do I get customers to reorder without a sales call?

Accepted Answer

Customers reorder without a sales call because every receipt carries a link to their own standing store, already built and already wearing their logo. On one account, 82 percent of buyers clicked the link. The store exists before the buyer needs it. The first order, however it came in, creates a store on that customer's subdomain with their artwork filed in an art locker and your price list attached. The receipt email, sent from the store's own address rather than a generic platform domain, links straight to it. The buyer lands on a page that already knows their logo, their sizes from last time, their prices and the products approved for them. They add and check out. No artwork to re-send, no quote to request, no phone call to place at all. The reorder today starts with a customer emailing "can we get more of those," a rep hunting for the last job to find the artwork and the price, and a fresh quote built by hand. That is 30 to 50 minutes of work on an order the shop had already won, and it only happens at all if the customer remembers to ask. The number to watch is what share of buyers click the link. On one account it was 82 percent, which measures a receipt carrying something us

Question 35

How do I run fundraising and spirit-wear stores with automatic payouts to the team or school?

Accepted Answer

Set the store up with a live total, a visible target and a split rule. Every order pays the decorator, the school or team and any other party automatically at settlement, so there is no spreadsheet at the end of the campaign and no check to cut. The split rule lives on the store: the booster club takes a percentage, the rep takes a percentage, the network takes its program fee, the decorator keeps its margin. It runs on Stripe Connect, so the buyer pays once and each party is paid into its own connected account, with a statement showing the orders behind the number. The money never sits with us. The store shows a live total against a goal, which is the part that drives sharing. Campaign dates open and close it on a timer, so a two-week spirit week does not stay open until March. Products print on demand, or come from a bulk run with reservations against it. The traditional fundraiser is a paper order form, cash and checks in an envelope, a volunteer totaling it by hand, and a payout weeks after the campaign closed. Every one of those steps is a place where the organization loses confidence in its decorator, and where the decorator loses an evening. This suits decorators serving sch

Question 36

Who owns the data on Brandfora and how is it protected?

Accepted Answer

The network owns its data. Stores, orders, customers, artwork and the ledger sit inside the network's own boundary, encrypted at rest and in transit, and leave by API or webhook whenever the network says so. Tenant isolation keeps each network's records separate, so nothing is pooled and no other network can query across the line. On the admin side, roles decide what each seat sees across the three tiers of network, location and store. Multi-factor authentication protects admin accounts. Impersonation lets a network admin sign in as a location to help them, with a record of who did it and when. The system log keeps the history of everything that happened to an order. API keys and webhooks are how data comes out: orders, stores and customers into your warehouse, your accounting system or whatever else you run. On a vendor-owned platform the answer to "can we have our order data" is a CSV export, on request, in the shape the vendor chose. Customer records and artwork often stay behind entirely, which is what makes leaving expensive and what keeps a network dependent on a tool it has outgrown. This matters most to networks whose members are independent businesses, because the trust qu

Question 37

What does Brandfora cost and do locations pay per order?

Accepted Answer

We do not publish pricing because the model is a partnership sized to the network, not a license off a rate card. Two things are fixed: your locations pay no per-order cut to sell what they already sell, and there is no per-seat meter. Both absences are deliberate. A per-order cut makes every location weigh whether this particular order is worth putting on the system, which is how a network ends up with half its volume invisible and its rebates unattributed. A per-seat charge makes a location think twice before adding the person who would use it most. Both work against the only thing that makes a network system worth having, which is that everybody uses it. So the partnership is sized to the network as a whole, and the marginal order costs the location nothing. The comparison worth running is not against another line item. It is against what the network spends today: hours per store built by hand, 30 to 50 minutes per quote, six minutes per purchase order typed, days each period reconciling rebates and royalties, and the orders that go to a big online printer because nobody at your location could answer inside an hour. One decorator wrote $183,000 in new online store business in it

Question 38

How does a network get started with Brandfora?

Accepted Answer

Bring one location's web address to a 30-minute call. We build that store in front of you, build a quote from your catalog, and open the cockpit. Nothing has to be signed or migrated for you to see it work. The call runs in that order for a reason. The store stands in 9 to 15 seconds from the pasted address, so you see the thing your locations would get rather than a slide describing it. The quote comes off your own catalog and pricing, so the numbers are yours. Then order ingestion shows what your network sells today from every source, including the store tools your locations already run, in one view. After the call the sequence is short: connect one supplier account, load a price list, pick the locations who want in, and move their stores by list. Five hundred stores go up from a CSV in about 30 minutes when you are ready for the fleet. The usual software evaluation is a discovery call, a scripted demo on sample data, a pilot scoped over weeks and a mandate to locations who never asked for it. That is months of elapsed time before anybody sees a real order, and by then the season you were aiming at has passed. No mandate and no rip and replace. Locations keep selling however they

Question 39

How can customers see their logo on a product before they order?

Accepted Answer

Embroidery looks stitched. Foil catches light. Before anyone orders. The studio generates mockups from the actual artwork in the actual zone, and it knows the technique. A stitched logo renders as thread, screen print as ink, foil catches the light. The picture that sells the order is the picture the floor can produce. A mockup that promises what the press can't do is a refund waiting to happen, and this one can't make that promise. The buyer editing a quote sees the mockup change with the color they picked, on the same page, before they pay. What it used to cost you: A designer's mockup, per product, per revision, per customer. The feature is called AI mockups . It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.

Question 40

What sales analytics does a network get across all its stores?

Accepted Answer

Walk into the supplier meeting with the network's real number. Sales by location, product, supplier, channel and season, live. Which stores sell, which sit. What the post-purchase email brought back. Export anything. The next tier negotiation runs on volume you can prove instead of last year's estimate, and the next catalog decision runs on what actually moved. Filter by store type to see whether fundraisers or employee stores carry the network. Compare a location's quotes sent to quotes paid. See which curated catalog converts and which one sits, then deploy accordingly. Every view exports. What it used to cost you: A number assembled from twelve spreadsheets the week before the meeting. The feature is called Analytics . It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.

Question 41

Does Brandfora have an API for pulling orders and store data?

Accepted Answer

Your data leaves whenever you want it to. Read and write against the network's own data: orders, stores, customers, catalog. Keys scoped per tenant and per purpose, stored encrypted, revocable in one click. Your ERP, your reporting tool and your back office read the same ledger the cockpit does. We have no reason to hold your data, so we don't. Revoke a key and its access ends that second; every call it ever made stays in the system log with the key attached. A reporting tool that only needs to read never gets a key that can write. What it used to cost you: A CSV export on request and a vendor that behaved like it owned your data. The feature is called API keys . It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.

Question 42

Where does customer artwork live so every store and order can use it?

Accepted Answer

Every approved logo variant, applied to the right product without a designer. Each store has an art locker: the full-color logo, the one-color, the reversed, the embroidery version, the mascot. Each one is checked at print resolution once. The system applies the right variant to the right product in the right zone automatically. Dark garment gets the reversed logo. The cap gets the mark. Nobody places anything by hand. What it used to cost you: A designer placing logos product by product, store by store, then again for the next customer. The feature is called Art locker . It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.

Question 43

Is there an audit trail of admin actions across the network?

Accepted Answer

Who did what, and when. Every admin action. Price changes, catalog deploys, role changes, impersonations, refunds, cancellations. Recorded with user, timestamp and before-and-after. Exportable. When a franchisee asks why a price moved, the answer is a row, not a memory. When your IT team asks for controls, this is the first one you show them. Filter by user, by store, by action or by date, and export it for the auditor or the franchise attorney. It's written by the system on every change, not by a person. It's the reason a network can hand pricing authority to HQ and still tell every franchisee exactly what changed, when, and by whom. What it used to cost you: An argument nobody could settle. The feature is called Audit log . It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.

Question 44

Can a store run wholesale, with net terms and customer-specific pricing?

Accepted Answer

Your account buyers buy on terms. So does checkout. A private catalog and account pricing for a named buyer. PO captured at order time, invoice raised from the same ledger as the order, aging and a mark-paid button in the cockpit. The buyer's team orders inside the catalog you agreed to, at the prices you agreed to, and nobody retypes it into accounting. Budgets are an optional switch per store. Lock modes decide whether the location or HQ holds the price. The invoice, the statement and the aging all read from the order, so finance stops asking the rep what shipped. What it used to cost you: Orders by email, a PO by fax, and an invoice keyed twice into two systems. The feature is called Private B2B store . It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.

Question 45

Can the background be removed from a customer logo automatically?

Accepted Answer

The white box around the logo disappears. Automatic background removal on any uploaded or pulled logo. The logo sits on the garment color, not on a white rectangle. It runs on the rapid store's pulled logo too, so the first thing the prospect sees looks like it was designed for the shirt. The cleaned file goes into the art locker beside the original. Hard edges stay hard, a mascot's outline survives, and the result is checked at print resolution like every other file. If the removal isn't clean, the studio flags it instead of shipping a fuzzy shirt. What it used to cost you: Five minutes in Photoshop per logo, times every logo, times every store. The feature is called Background removal . It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.

Question 46

How do I create hundreds of stores at once from a spreadsheet?

Accepted Answer

A spreadsheet of domains in. Five hundred branded stores out. Upload a list. Each row runs the same five steps as a rapid store: logo pulled and checked, colors read, catalog attached, pricing applied, store and account created. Five hundred stores in about half an hour. A thousand prospect domains uploaded at night are a thousand draft stores in the morning, and the rep's first email of the day has a link in it instead of a request for a logo. The store stops being the reward for closing. It's the opener. One honest note: a site with no usable logo comes back as a draft that needs a file. The store still stands. What it used to cost you: Weeks to stand up a prospecting program, one store at a time, one logo request at a time. The feature is called Bulk import . It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.

Question 47

How are bulk orders with quantity tiers handled next to one-off items?

Accepted Answer

A 250-piece screen run in the same cart as the one-off. Quantity tiers price the run from the price list. The line routes to your floor or a decorator by method and quantity. A pop-up or fundraiser collects orders into one production run so you print once. Size breakdowns arrive as a grid, not a phone call, and the size surcharge applies itself to the 2XLs. Bulk and on-demand sit on the same listing, so the store offers the one-off at one price and the team run at the tier price, and the buyer picks. What it used to cost you: A separate quote, a separate PO and a separate spreadsheet for every bulk job. The feature is called Bulk orders . It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.

Question 48

How do I run a seasonal campaign across every store in a network?

Accepted Answer

A dated push to a named group. On, then off, by itself. Pair a promotion, a catalog or a store with a customer group and a date range. The varsity roster gets its jersey covered while ordering spirit wear. The employees of one account see their gift store in November and not in January. Start, end, report. Every campaign lands in the cockpit as its own line, so the next one is planned from numbers instead of a feeling. Clone last year's campaign, move the dates, and the holiday push is scheduled in the time it took to read this. What it used to cost you: A calendar reminder and a manual switch-off nobody remembered. The feature is called Campaigns . It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.

Question 49

What happens to the supplier purchase order when a customer cancels?

Accepted Answer

Cancel the order. Cancel the PO. Cancel the route. One action. A cancellation runs through everything the order touched: the supplier PO, the fulfillment route, the ledger, the split, the buyer's receipt. Nothing downstream keeps producing something nobody's paying for. Inside the hold window it's clean; after it, the system tells you what's already moving. A partial cancel works the same way: kill one line, the rest of the order keeps producing. The buyer gets one email that says what was cancelled and what's still coming, from the store's name, and the ledger already agrees with it. What it used to cost you: Blanks that arrived anyway and a decorator who'd already started. The feature is called Cancel through . It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.

Question 50

Can a store show products and prices without checkout, then switch to selling?

Accepted Answer

Show everything. Sell nothing until they call. Flip a store to catalog mode and the cart disappears. Products, artwork, print zones and mockups stay. Prices show or hide, your choice. For the account that has to buy through procurement, or the prospect you want browsing before they can buy. Flip it back and the same store is live commerce, same URL, same artwork, nothing rebuilt. Reps use it as the step between a lookbook and a live store: the customer's whole program, visible to every employee, with a call-to-order instead of a cart, until procurement says go. Then it's one switch. What it used to cost you: A printed catalog that was out of date before it shipped. The feature is called Catalog mode . It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.

Question 51

How do I duplicate a store for a new customer or location?

Accepted Answer

Next season is a copy, not a rebuild. Take any store, copy it, change the dates or the catalog, done. The artwork, the price list, the switches and the design limits come along. A pop-up that ran in October runs again in April in about a minute. A store a location loves becomes forty stores for forty customers, each rebranded from its own domain. The original stays where it was, history intact. Clone across store types too: the fundraiser that worked becomes a pop-up for the tournament, switches adjusted, artwork untouched. What it used to cost you: An afternoon rebuilding a store you already built last year, and getting one setting wrong. The feature is called Clone a store . It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.

Question 52

What is the Brandfora cockpit and what does headquarters see in it?

Accepted Answer

Every sale, every location, every channel. One number you can audit. Native orders from stores and quotes, ingested orders from the tools your locations already run, in one ledger at HQ. Sales by location, product, supplier, season. Rebates attributed, fees calculated, who's approved and who's selling. HQ sees the sales and collects what it's owed. It does not see a location's customer list unless the agreement says so. What it used to cost you: Quarter-end to reconstruct what the network sold, from self-reported totals. The feature is called The cockpit . It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.

Question 53

How do I limit a store to the fifty products that actually sell?

Accepted Answer

Fifty products cover eighty percent of sales. Show those. A curated catalog is a slice of the Master: the trades set, the credit union set, the holiday gift set. Build it once at HQ. A new store picks up the one that fits its segment automatically. An HVAC contractor gets workwear and hi-vis; a bank gets polos and quarter-zips. Buyers stop wading through ten thousand SKUs, and reps stop scrolling for the right polo on the call. What it used to cost you: A store with everything in it and a customer who bought nothing. The feature is called Curated catalogs . It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.

Question 54

Can each store run on the customer's own domain or subdomain?

Accepted Answer

Your name on every URL. Ours on none of them. The network's domain on the cockpit. The location's domain on its stores, or the customer's own subdomain when they want that. Managed TLS on every one. Buyers never see a platform name, and neither does your franchisee's customer. This is the white label doing its job, on every screen, including the receipt. Point the DNS and the store answers on the customer's name, certificate handled. A franchise network runs hundreds of these without a ticket to anyone, and the cockpit still sees every one. What it used to cost you: A vendor's brand on your checkout page, and a customer asking who that company is. The feature is called Custom domains . It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.

Question 55

How do I give different customer groups different prices and products?

Accepted Answer

Group the buyers. Then price, promo and gift them as one. Every customer can belong to groups: the varsity roster, one account's employees, a chapter of members. A group gets its own pricing, its own promotions, its own campaigns, its own redemption codes. The order history stays on the person; the rules ride on the group. Add a new hire to the group and they inherit everything in one step. One person can sit in several groups, so the coach who's also a parent gets the coach price on the polo and the parent promotion on spirit wear. What it used to cost you: A spreadsheet of who gets what, kept by the one person who knew the team. The feature is called Customer groups . It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.

Question 56

How do I push a catalog or season to every store in one action?

Accepted Answer

Build the holiday catalog once. Every store in the network is selling it in minutes. Pick the collection, set the prices and the dates, press one button. Every store in the network, a hundred or a hundred thousand, shows it in its own branding, priced from your price list, ready to buy and ready to produce. On the start date it appears. On the end date it removes itself. No location rebuilds anything. Q4 becomes a campaign, not a project, and so does awareness month, spring spirit wear and the new uniform program. Pull it back early in one action if you need to. Every store in the network, or just the ones you pick. What it used to cost you: Weeks to get a holiday catalog onto every location's stores, and longer to take it down. The feature is called Deploy a catalog . It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.

Question 57

How are embroidery digitizing requests handled inside an order?

Accepted Answer

The digitizing lives inside the order. Not in an email thread. Add an embroidered product and a digitizing line item is added automatically. The request is linked to the order. The proof, the approval, the DST and the stitch count stay attached to the line that paid for them. A digitizer still does the digitizing; the studio doesn't invent a stitch file from a JPEG. What changed is that nothing about it lives in somebody's inbox. The floor sees a line that's ready, or a line that's waiting, and never a line that's a mystery. What it used to cost you: A file arriving three days later attached to nothing, and a polo order that died waiting for it. The feature is called Digitizing requests . It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.

Question 58

How do I find products across all my suppliers in one search?

Accepted Answer

Browse every supplier's range. Pull in what you'll actually sell. Search across connected suppliers by brand, category, technique and price. Add a product to your Master catalog in one click, with its sources and live pricing attached. Restricted brands and the supplier whitelist filter the results before you see them. The catalog grows the way your sales grow, not all at once on day one. Pull a whole brand or one style. Each product arrives with its print zones, techniques and sources already set, so it's sellable the minute it's in the Master, and a curated set can pick it up the same day. What it used to cost you: Importing ten thousand SKUs nobody sold and cleaning up afterward. The feature is called Discovery catalog . It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.

Question 59

How does the DPI gate stop unprintable artwork at checkout?

Accepted Answer

A 72 dpi logo gets caught on the call, not on the dock. Every logo is measured at the size it will print, in the zone it will print in. Pass at left chest, fail at full back, and the studio says so before the buyer sees a price. Nothing below the threshold reaches a quote, an order or a press. The same check runs on a store built from a pasted domain, so you hear about a bad logo while you're still talking to the customer. What it used to cost you: Three or four bad-art tickets a day and an afternoon calling for a real file. The feature is called DPI gate . It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.

Question 60

Can Brandfora generate embroidery DST files from a logo?

Accepted Answer

Upload the DST. The stitch count reads itself. Embroidery lines carry a DST, and the system reads the stitch count from the file automatically. The count prices the line, the thread palette sits beside it, and the file goes to the heads with the order. Nobody opens it in a second program to count, and nobody types a number that turns out wrong. The count also drives the mockup, so a dense logo looks dense. What it used to cost you: A stitch count typed by hand, and a price that was wrong when it was typed wrong. The feature is called DST files . It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.

Question 61

How does an employee company store with allowances work?

Accepted Answer

Allowances that behave like allowances. New hires order on day one. Uniforms, workwear and swag on a standing store, with the budget attached to the person, not the order. Allowance first, card or PO for the rest. Private, by invite. HR sends a link instead of a spreadsheet. Reorders, a second location, next season's polo, all self-serve on a store that never came down. Terms and PO checkout switch on for the accounts that need them. The customer's logo variants sit in the art locker, so the new hire's cap and the new hire's jacket both come out right. What it used to cost you: A rep collecting sizes by email, reconciling who spent what, and rebuilding the order every quarter. The feature is called Employee and company store . It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.

Question 62

Does Brandfora integrate with Fulfill Engine for production?

Accepted Answer

Print on demand as a route, not a separate business. Lines that fit on-demand go out to Fulfill Engine by STAHLS' without anybody re-keying them: DTF, DTG, embroidery, laser, screen, sublimation, apparel and hard goods, across vetted facilities in the US. Tracking comes back to the order and the buyer's receipt under the store's name. Your floor keeps what it wants; the route takes the rest. Pricing per technique is in the catalog already, so the store quoted the same number the route will charge, and the margin floor held on the way through. What it used to cost you: A second login, a re-typed order and a tracking number pasted by hand. The feature is called Fulfill Engine . It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.

Question 63

How do fundraising stores with goals and live totals work?

Accepted Answer

The goal bar sells. The beneficiary gets paid without a check run. Spirit wear, team stores, booster drives. A live total, a visible target, a feed of who just bought. The window closes at the target or on the date, your call, into one production run. The beneficiary's share is settled automatically at payout, with a statement. Nobody at the shop totals a spreadsheet in March and writes a check. The store stays standing after the drive, the receipt sends buyers back to it, and next season is a clone, not a rebuild. What it used to cost you: Hours of reconciliation per campaign and a check the booster club chased you for. The feature is called Fundraising store . It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.

Question 64

Can stores sell and redeem gift cards?

Accepted Answer

Sell the value now. Ship the shirt when they pick it. Gift cards on any store, sold or issued, redeemable at checkout against the store's catalog. A company buys a hundred for its staff; each person picks their own size and color on their own time. The balance lives on the ledger with everything else, so the cockpit shows what's outstanding and what's been redeemed. Sell them on a public store for the holidays or issue them in bulk as a service award. Partial redemptions carry the remainder forward, and the cockpit reports outstanding balances as a liability you can actually see. What it used to cost you: Paper certificates and a spreadsheet of who redeemed what. The feature is called Gift cards . It runs on the same rails as everything else here: one catalog, one price list, one cockpit, your name on the front.
